It is therefore very important that future employees have an eye vision check.
The Hamilton-Veale HR Vision Test Kit allows the Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or HR staff to administer these simple tests.
The tests will reveal any visual anomalies and provide the employer with knowledge of the prospective employees visual status.
The test can also be used to check vision of current employees. It is recommended that checks be preformed yearly.
The Kit consists of tests for:
1. Distance Vision at 3 Metres (10 feet)
2. Near vision (very important for people over 45 years of age)
3. Macular distortion
4. Contrast Sensitivity (important for driving at night)
5. Peripheral Vision on confrontation (fields of vision).
6. Colour (Color) vision
If any deficits are disclosed, a further examination by a vision professional, optometrist or Ophthalmologist is indicated.
